Piping and Equipment Supervisor

Position description

We are currently looking for an Piping and Equipment Supervisor for our client in Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant, Finland. We are offering challenging work in an international project environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Ensure that health and safety project targets are met: 

  • Ensure that works are only performed under released work order (safety related) 
  • Attend to HSE trainings 
  • Frequently brief the own team about existing and new risks at site 
  • Ensure that health and safety rules are known and applied by the workers (PPE, work permit, scaffolds, ladder, material)
  • In case of discrepancies to implement corrective actions to avoid new occurrences with help of client officer 
  • Track and report health and safety deviations 

Ensure that the are performed in accordance to the specified technical and quality requirements: 

  • Process upcoming work orders and follow them until closure (pick up / return Of WOS)
  • Ensure that works are only performed under released work order (quality related)
  • Check that works are only executed in accordance to CFC drawings  
  • Follow daily and closely the activities of its own team and correct as soon as possible any deviation 
  • Resolve any occurring blockings with the team and other disciplines at site 
  • Track and report all technical and/or quality deviations 
  • Ensure that the target dates are met and alert in case of deviation 

Ensure that progress details are provided to IMM management: 

  • Report in specified report sessions the progress of each work order 


  • Progress feedback 
  • Event report in case of need 
  • Work order report files 


  • Technician degree (mechanical / Welding)
  • At minimum 2 years OL3 related experience 
  • Knowledge Of maintenance work methods on nuclear power plant (preferable OL3 related) 
  • Ability to lead site teams in English and Finnish 
  • Technical understanding and ability to work With Drawings P&lDs and other technical documents 
  • Work order process awareness and knowledge linked to issuance of work records 
  • Knowledge linked to Non-destructive testing no level or qualification required


  • Fluent in English and Finnish
