IMM Mechanical Planners

Position description

We are currently looking for IMM Mechanical Planners for our client in Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant, Finland. We are offering challenging work in an international project environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Asses, review and rework maintenance data from databases and manuals 
  • Plan and prepare maintenance performance documentation (so called work orders)
  • Issue procedures and instructions incl. required spare parts related to plant maintenance
  • To support all commissioning activities with regard to maintenance 
  • Active participation in the Blocking-, Work Order-, Test Permit-, Fault Notification and Temporary Modification Processes
  • To respect the requirements of Technical Specifications
  • Issue and manage maintenance related schedules
  • Review maintenance work reports
  • Ensuring the application of safety, security and environmental standards, guidelines and rules
  • Transfer of knowledge about maintenance planning, execution and documentation, maintenance strategies and maintenance tool to the customers staff and supervise its application afterwards, if needed
  • Plan and prepare field activities for temporary modifications (electromechanical) and their restoration after use (specifically related to the Containment Tightness Test - CTT)
  • Check and prepare dismantling, transport routes and temporary storage locations and requirements
  • Issue procedures, drawings and instructions including required spare parts related to temporary modifications/ final installation
  • Identify, coordinate and order external resources to perform CTT
  • To respect the requirements of Technical Specifications
  • Review maintenance work reports
  • Ensuring the application of safety, security and environmental standards, guidelines and rules

Requirements

  • Engineering degree/ diploma with an emphasis on Mechanical Engineering (or similar) or experienced Technician with an Mechanical or Electromechanic background
  • Understanding of technical documentation for power plant components
  • Understanding of maintenance/ mechanical works
  • Understanding of procedure/ instruction compliance
  • Training/ mentoring skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Several years of specialist work experience 
  • In depth knowledge of nuclear plant operations, maintenance, and/ or procedural planning
  • Knowledge of power plant, system and process engineering 
  • Knowledge of commissioning procedures and organization

Languages:

  • Fluent English required
